This document outlines the minimum requirements for client devices under centralized management by the IT-Screen platform.
The minimum requirements for a client device are determined by:
- the type of media content being streamed (e.g., HD, Full HD, 4K video);
- the type of operating system (Android, Windows, Linux, iOS);
- the platform being used (web browser, mobile application);
- the characteristics of the automation controller (managing IoT devices).
Requirements Based on Media Content Type
Media Content in HD (720p) Standard:
- Processor: Dual-core processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz.
- RAM: At least 2 GB.
- Graphics Card: Support for H.264 decoding.
- Internet Connection: At least 5 Mbps.
- Storage: 1 GB of free space.
Media Content in Full HD (1080p) Standard:
- Processor: Quad-core processor with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz.
- RAM: At least 4 GB.
- Graphics Card: Support for H.264/H.265 (HEVC) decoding.
- Internet Connection: At least 10 Mbps.
- Storage: 2 GB of free space.
Media Content in 4K (2160p) Standard:
- Processor: Quad-core processor with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz or higher.
- RAM: At least 8 GB.
- Graphics Card: Support for H.264/H.265 (HEVC) decoding.
- Internet Connection: At least 25 Mbps.
- Storage: 4 GB of free space.

IoT Devices:
- Processor: Minimum 32-bit microcontroller with a clock speed of 80 MHz.
- RAM: Minimum 128 KB.
- Support for Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth.
- Communication Protocols: MQTT, WebSocket.
- Power Supply: Built-in battery or constant power source.
- Compatibility with Controller: Full compatibility with the automation controller used.
